Ron Cook writes about the "Best Game" of the season, Coach Paul mentioned the new formatted defense kept the team in the game, and now I wonder if I was even there to witness the same game.
During the game I kept myself asking how the Lady Conchs won so many games by mercy rule.
Guess I just watched a different game yesterday than the Citizen writer, as at no time during the entire game was Key West dominating, instead the few goalchances they had came on quick counter attacks, on 2 of which the Lady Conchs should have scored.
It was an unengaged game by the local team and some of the players had to be disciplined by the Referees as skill was compensated by unnecessary hard physical play.
But as they say, it's right here in Black and White in the Citizen's Sports Page, and consequently that's what counts.
